How often do we get caught up in the negative? How often does NO seem to hold us back from what is truly our heart’s desire, our goal, our purpose?

It doesn’t have to. Here’s a better word.

Yes! I say yes to you, my most precious one.

It is my great joy to say yes. It is my good pleasure. Yes. Yes. Listen. Get used to hearing the word. Hear it from me. Hear it within you.

For too long you have only heard No. No has been your constant lurker, camped on your doorstep and stalking you. No has called to you, screamed at you, and whispered in your ear saying, “Not you. You are not worthy. You cannot. This is not for you. No.”

O my precious one, No is a lie. It is not your inheritance. Yes is your inheritance. Yes is your place in life. Yes is your treasure. Yes will not scream at you. She will not coerce you or seek to make you feel guilt or remorse. Yes is arms open wide, saying, “Come. Partake of that which is good. Come. This is for you. Ask what you will. The answer is yes.”

Run into open arms and see what Yes is all about. Play with her. Take the risk. Touch her, and feel her kindness as she returns your touch. Let her fill your heart with hope. I care for you deeply. All that I say to you is Yes. Yes.

Now ask. Ask of me what you will. You already know the answer.
