Very fortunate. Very blessed. Most of my professional life was spent in public libraries. Such a wonderful experience, working alongside such smart and caring people. I mean, the books are nice, sure. Libraries offer terrific programs, innovation, and creative ideas. They connect communities with technology and with one another. But the best part of the library is the people who work there. I was supported and given opportunities to explore my interests, develop my skills, and grow into a career I loved. Thank you to all I had the pleasure to work with.
