Light on My Feet & Able to Move Freely

I was just looking at my blog post from a year ago. I had just completed knee surgery for a torn meniscus and was excited about getting better and going out walking again. Boy, was I optimistic! In the past year the pains have traveled through my knees, to my back, to my hips and back and forth and all over. The pains move around as if my body parts are targets in a pinball game. Still, I continue to make progress, and I appreciate being able to take walks along the river again. I’m grateful for my healthy body. Or as I say in my morning affirmation, I’m happy to be light on my feet, flexible, and able to move freely. I’m thankful for my vibrant body, with glowing skin and a smile that surfaces from deep within.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

How about you? What’s the story that’s creating your future? What are you believing about your life? I hope it’s something wondrous, uplifting, and totally worthy of who you are—you. The real you. The beautiful soul I see. Let’s have a great summer!

If you’re in the Lewis-Clark Valley, perhaps you’ll join me in a Power Word Workshop on June 13. Great way to kick off your Summer!
